2. Minimum Requirements
Workshop participants are expected to be ready to partake in a range of physical performing arts activities including acting, singing and dancing. If any participant may be unable to undertake such tasks, please contact us before booking to discuss their specific needs so we can ensure every participant can benefit fully from the training on offer. For example, this may include, but is not limited to, English language ability, physical stamina and ability to read printed materials.
Please be aware that if you book onto a Course without being able to meet the minimum requirements and without discussing this in advance, we will not be able to honour your Booking and a refund will not be issued.
3. Booking, Payment and Cancellations
Registration: All participants must complete a registration form before attending the workshop.
Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place in the workshop. Payments can be made via [insert payment methods, e.g., credit card, bank transfer, online payment platform].
Confirmation: Upon receipt of payment, a confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
If you are a consumer and you are not entering into the Contract for purposes connected with a business, then you have legal rights under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 to cancel the Contract within 14 days (the "Cancellation Period") of the date of conclusion of your Contract (the date you book your Course). You accept that the Cancellation Period will expire 14 days after the date of the Booking (the date you book your Course).
If you wish to cancel your Booking within the Cancellation Period, please send an email to extra@artsintl.org within 14 calendar days of the date of your payment.
Cancellations and refunds requested after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We will always endeavour to be fair to all course participants who need to cancel due to circumstances outside of their control. Our workshops require a minimum number of students to cover their costs, and as such, no refund guarantee can be made if the student’s place cannot be filled.
Should a workshop be unable to run, we may need to cancel our agreement. We will endeavour to inform you no less than 7 calendar days before the workshop commences. In this case a full refund will be provided.
Non-attendance at workshops does not entitle participants to refunds.
5. Attendance and Punctuality
Arrival and Departure: Parents/guardians must ensure their children arrive and are collected on time. The club is not responsible for children outside of the stated session times.
Absences: Please notify the club in advance if your child will be absent. No refunds or credits are given for missed sessions.
6. Health and Safety
Medical Information: It is essential to provide accurate medical information about your child at the time of booking. Any changes to this information must be communicated promptly.
Injuries and Illness: If a child becomes ill or injured during a session, parents/guardians will be contacted immediately. In case of an emergency, appropriate medical assistance will be sought.
7. Behaviour and Conduct
Code of Conduct: Children are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, fellow participants and the facilities used. Disruptive, harmful or damaging behaviour will not be tolerated.
Disciplinary Actions: The club reserves the right to remove a student from a workshop if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
8. Personal Belongings
Responsibility: The club is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Children are encouraged to leave valuable items at home.
9. Food and Drink
Catering is not provided. Participants should arrive with sufficient food and snacks to last from 0900 and 1600. Please consider that the course will be physically demanding at times and as such, more energy will be required. Participants should bring a refillable water bottle.
10. Photography / Video
From time to time we may take photographs or video of the students, we may use these recordings on our website, social media or in print. To ensure we comply with the Data Protection Act and the GDPR, we need your permission before we can photograph or make any recordings of the applicant. These permissions are found on the registration form.
11. Agreement
Acceptance: By completing the booking, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
